Yes. I played 4 on 4 men’s league as did my son, on a slightly smaller rink and we both loved it, Being out every other shift really kept your head in the game. As for the pro’s, many players are bigger and faster than ever and should be playing on Olympic size ice, but it will never happen, we are too invested in existing stadiums. Surprisingly India does have an ice hockey team (women and men). The Ladies team photographed after the 4–3 victory against Philippines at the Challe… Most? Who knows. But a lot of us do. And I wouldn’t call it “like”. Take Americans’ attitudes to college football, and raise them to a NASCAR, throw in American’s love of Jesus, and you begin to understand how a lot of us (who knows if its “most”, it’s a LOT!) of us feel about hockey. It’s not a sport. It IS our religion. I feel physically sick when the Habs lose. I HATE it!!!! Though the game, and league, is trending in the direction of making it illegal, I think that would be a mistake. To Tim’s point, fighting is what keeps players in check on the ice. It also creates instant momentum for teams to use to their advantage.
